Walking routes begin right outside the door. Forest paths wind through the valley, Alpine meadows stretch towards the horizon, and mountain streams run alongside the trail. Your dog follows every scent, while you breathe in the clear mountain air. One thing to note: in the Grossarltal valley, dogs must be kept on a lead, because consideration for others is simply part of being out in nature together. Dog stations with free waste bags help keep the paths clean, and you’ll find them throughout the valley. Our reception team will be happy to share some favourite hiking tips, from gentle walks to more challenging mountain tours.

Many restaurants and cafés in the Grossarltal valley welcome dogs. Sit back and enjoy regional specialities while your furry companion rests at your feet. In the evening, your four-legged friend is welcome to join you at the PfandlWerk too – just let us know in advance. When you’re at breakfast or in the wellness area, your dog can enjoy a little quiet time in your room while you recharge for your next outing together.

Your dog can settle down just as comfortably as you can, with fresh water at the ready and everything in place for a restful evening. Your dog will be well looked after here, with two options to choose from. The standard daily rate of €20.00 (excluding food) includes homemade dog treats from our kitchen. For even more comfort, the premium package is €25.00 per day (also excluding food) and includes homemade dog treats as well as the use of a dog bed and bowl.
